What is ClassDojo?

ClassDojo communication is a digital tool for K-8 schools, teachers, students, and families to connect through a private messaging system and shared stories with photos and videos.

What Families See When They Log into ClassDojo

Connect to Your Child's ClassDojo Class via Email

Email invites to join your child's school and class accounts were sent out in the beginning of the school year.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ: Be sure to use the email address the district has on file for your parent communications.

Click on the link in the email.
Log into your parent account when prompted. If you need to reset your password, learn how to here . (Don’t have an account yet? No problem – you’ll have the option to create an account first! Read this article for additional help.)
Once you are logged into your account, you'll be automatically connected to your child's account. 🎉

After accepting the invite, you’ll be able to:

Send private messages to all teachers connected to the class
View updates shared by teachers in the Class Story feed
Check out School Story posts from your child’s school

After registering, you can access ClassDojo using the website or with the Apple iOS or Android app. Below are some resources to help you get started with the ClassDojo parent app.

What is the point system?

ClassDojo includes a behavior management feature where teachers can award points for positive actions (such as teamwork, persistence, or helping others) and sometimes deduct points for behaviors that need improvement. However, not all teachers use the point system, so your experience may vary depending on your child’s classroom. The main purpose of ClassDojo in our school is to strengthen communication between families and teachers.

Can I use ClassDojo in another language?

When should I expect a teacher to reply?

Some teachers use ClassDojo for direct messaging, while others may use different communication methods. Teachers who do check messages on ClassDojo typically respond during school hours. While they may not reply immediately, they will respond as soon as possible. Please respect your teacher’s preferred method of communication and do not expect responses during evenings, weekends, or school holidays.
