Meet the Principal

 Mr. Mark P. Gray
 Principal of Plaza Elementary School   

Mr. Mark P. Gray has proudly served as the principal of Plaza Elementary School since 2011 and has been an elementary school principal in the Baldwin Union Free School District since 2006. Mr. Gray possesses more than twenty-five years of experience working in education. Prior to Baldwin UFSD, Mr. Gray was a teacher, an assistant principal, and principal in the NYC Department of Education (NYC Public Schools). He also spent the first two years of his career as an educator teaching in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Gray obtained his bachelor’s in education from SUNY Brockport, his master’s in literature from Brooklyn College, and his advanced certificate in educational leadership from Touro College.
