Our Baldwin students are regularly exposed to rigorous and robust programs of study along their educational journey. We have successfully introduced learning opportunities that are relevant and empowering based on the model of “Students as Producers” as well as the six C’s: creativity, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, character and civic-mindedness.
ARTS
Elementary art and music serve as the foundation of our award-winning K-12 Fine and Performing Arts program.
Character education is an important component of the elementary curriculum in Baldwin Union Free School District, supporting the development of the “whole” child.
Our elementary students are actively involved in various projects that emphasize the importance of community engagement as well as the responsibilities of a good citizen.
In Baldwin, we offer a rich and robust curriculum in a vibrant learning environment, where our K-5 students thrive through cognitively stimulating projects, collaborate to tackle real-world challenges, and participate in rigorous and relevant learning experiences across core subject areas and S.T.E.A.M.
